Hinckley Archery Club is a community of archers who share the same passion for archery. We welcome archers of all levels and provide a safe and friendly environment for everyone to practice and improve their skills.

CLUB INFORMATION

CLUB SESSIONS

Club sessions run on a Thursday evening from 5:30pm-7:30pm, and on a Sunday morning from 10:30am-12:30pm at Parklands Farm, on Lutterworth Road in Burbage.

During a club session, individual archers must only shoot distances that they are 'qualified' to shoot. The club operates a scheme that ensures archers must put in qualifying scores before moving on to longer distances.

As Hinckley Archery Club operates on an outdoor range, all lost arrows must be found. To this end all arrows must be capable of being easily found using a metal detector. Wooden arrows should have metal tape wound around the outside. 'All carbon' arrows are not permitted.

Whilst the club has exclusive use of the field, all archers are expected to help with the setting up and putting away of targets, if required.

THE FACILITIES

Hinckley Archery Club shoots all year round in a designated field at Parklands Farm. There is adequate and safe parking in the Visitors Car Park, which is situated on the right hand side as you enter the premises.

The path which leads from the car park to the archery field can become muddy in the winter months so suitable footwear is advised.

There is a toilet onsite, which is located next to the farms industrial units.

Archers and visitors are welcome to bring their own portable chairs and refreshments, but please take away any litter or rubbish.
